The Offshore Partners is an independent service provider in the offshore energy, maritime, and shipbuilding sectors—specializing in technical and project management services for vessel new-builds, conversions, R&M, offshore energy installations, recruitment, and operational support. Founded in 2004, based in Rotterdam, and part of the Van Es Group, they combine deep industry knowledge with innovation to tailor flexible, cost-effective solutions for international clients .
During my multi-year engagement, I provided hands-on IT support and consultancy to help keep their Rotterdam base—and remote operational systems—running smoothly:
- Configured and maintained workstations, laptops, printers, and networking infrastructure
- Managed server infrastructure, file sharing, back-up and security systems
- Implemented backup routines, and ensured reliable data storage
- Supported office network stability and internet connectivity
- Automated routine admin tasks and provided troubleshooting to minimize downtime
- Assisted with IT equipment procurement and onboarding support for staff
